Coming from a liberal arts education background, Tự-Anh / Ben (b. 2003) has been developing a photographic-based practice that often reflects his contemplations on the happenings around him. His work explores the complexities of the human condition in relation to the authorship of representation and the social codes that often go unquestioned—how these codes influence him and, in turn, shape his identity within the social landscape and everyday life.
Currently, he works as a creative freelancer, taking on various ad-hoc projects across different fields, including filmmaking, photography, creative direction, curating, as well as producing and programming artistic initiatives and cultural programs.
